A dancer from the Asa'khani tribe. The best dancers are chosen to be a priest(ess) in the temple to Akedoma. This one here is dancing in front of the high council of the Akedoma cult to enter training as a priestess. The colors on her body signify her clan (blue : Blue dragon of the northern seas (A'hitorana) clan) and her marital status (white : unmarried). Those markings are left to the creative minds of the people decorating themselves. It is often made of symbols, decorative swirls, dots and lines. This body painting is considered part of being dressed. For a formal occasion, the paintings are much more elaborate.
